Senior ASIC Physical Design Engineer

• Run the full physical design flow: floorplan, power distribution, placement, clock tree synthesis and routing.
• Perform timing analysis and timing closure across the various process corners and operating conditions.
• Analyze signal integrity, IR drop and power density; propose fixes.
• Run DRC, LVS and antenna physical verification and clear the remaining violations.
• Write and optimize Tcl scripts to automate the repetitive steps in the flow.
• Work with the logic design team, the DFT team and the foundry to prepare the tapeout package.
• Record the results of each iteration and report design closure progress.

• At least 4 years in ASIC physical design, with at least one project taken through to tapeout.
• Proficient with the Synopsys toolchain (ICC2, Fusion Compiler) or Cadence (Innovus).
• Solid grasp of static timing analysis and how to read PrimeTime reports.
• Understanding of advanced process nodes and the design constraints that come with them.
• Proficient scripting in Tcl, Perl or Python; comfortable working in a Linux environment.
• Good written English, able to work with overseas teams and partners.

IC physical design

• Income from 45 – 90 million VND/month, negotiable based on your ability and interview results.
• The salary discussed is net take-home income — the company covers social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and personal income tax, so you receive the full agreed amount.

Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 17:30, lunch break 12:00 – 13:30, working at the office.
Saturday: 08:30 – 12:00, working from home — no need to come into the office.
Sunday and statutory public holidays: off.
Work-from-home policy: up to 10 work-from-home days in every 30 days (Saturdays included), registered in advance with your direct manager.
No unplanned overtime. Roles on system duty follow a separate shift schedule, with a shift allowance and compensating days off.

You choose one of the three domestic offices when you apply: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi or Da Nang.
