Embedded Software Engineer (Linux, C++)

• Develop and maintain Linux-based embedded software for the group's device lines.
• Write and tune device drivers, kernel modules and the middleware layer that talks to the hardware.
• Build the OS distribution with Yocto or Buildroot, optimizing image size and boot time.
• Work with the hardware team on board bring-up for new boards and on peripheral testing.
• Low-level debugging with JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and memory analysis tools.
• Write unit and integration tests and take part in continuous integration for embedded software.
• Produce design documents, technical documentation and guides for the manufacturing team.

• At least 2 years of embedded programming in C or C++ on Linux.
• Solid grasp of operating system architecture: process and memory management, synchronization and scheduling.
• Experience writing device drivers or working directly with SPI, I2C, UART, CAN and USB interfaces.
• Proficient with Git, CMake/Make and cross-compile environments.
• Experience with Yocto, Buildroot or an RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) is a big plus.
• Able to read schematics and component datasheets.
• Good English reading comprehension for technical documentation.

• Income from 25 – 50 million VND/month, negotiable based on your ability and interview results.

Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 17:30, lunch break 12:00 – 13:30, working at the office.
Saturday: 08:30 – 12:00, working from home — no need to come into the office.
Sunday and statutory public holidays: off.
Work-from-home policy: up to 10 work-from-home days in every 30 days (Saturdays included), registered in advance with your direct manager.
No unplanned overtime. Roles on system duty follow a separate shift schedule, with a shift allowance and compensating days off.

You choose one of the three domestic offices when you apply: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi or Da Nang.
The group also has offices in Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka (Japan), Seoul (Korea), Sydney (Australia), California (United States), Singapore and Dubai — staff have the chance to work onsite or rotate by project.
