We work around SAP; we do not replace your SAP implementation partner

To be clear up front: core SAP implementation — configuring functional modules and advising on SAP-standard processes — belongs to SAP-certified consultancies. HiTechCloud does not position itself in that role.

What we do well is everything around it: infrastructure that keeps SAP stable, backup and recovery, connecting SAP to your other systems, and building the supporting applications that would be too expensive to customize inside SAP.

For many Vietnamese businesses this is the missing piece: SAP runs, but on servers in an aging machine room, with untested backups, and every figure exported by hand into a spreadsheet.

All our changes sit outside the SAP system: the infrastructure underneath, data connection paths and satellite applications. Your SAP consulting unit has nothing to adjust.

We coordinate schedules and maintenance windows directly with your SAP implementer.
Data is connected through standard interfaces, with no table changes inside SAP.

FAQ

No. Configuring SAP modules and advising on process belongs to SAP-certified consultancies. HiTechCloud handles infrastructure, backup, disaster recovery, data integration and the supporting applications around SAP, working alongside your implementation partner.

Can an SAP system be moved to the cloud?

Yes, depending on the version and SAP's own requirements for the runtime environment. We assess compatibility, propose a suitable configuration and migrate in stages, working with your SAP consultancy.

Does the data have to sit overseas?

Not necessarily. The infrastructure can sit in a Vietnamese data center, which suits businesses that must keep data in-country.

Why build satellite apps instead of customizing SAP directly?

Deep customization of the core is expensive and makes future upgrades harder. For needs at the edge of the process — field lookups, approvals on a phone, unusual forms — a separate app connected by API is usually cheaper and more flexible.
