Building too much before there are users
The product is designed for a scale that does not exist yet, so funding and time go into features nobody has asked for.
HiTechCloud builds MVPs and early-stage infrastructure for startups — good enough to launch, lean enough not to burn capital on what you do not need yet, and with room to scale once users arrive.
Early on, the biggest risk is not an overloaded system but a product that reaches the market too late. So we prioritize getting a usable version to users quickly, on an architecture simple enough for a small team to keep changing fast.
That does not mean cutting corners. The things that are hard to change later — data model, permissions, billing logic, data export — are designed carefully from the start. Everything easily replaced is kept as simple as possible.
Once the product has real users and starts growing, we scale the system with you — and at that point scaling follows real usage data, not projections.

The idea and the customers are there, but hiring a workable engineering team takes more months and more money than planned.
The trial version is thrown onto a single server, and by the time real users arrive there is no time to fix it.
Due diligence asks about backups, access control, personal data and running costs while the technical file is still empty.
From a written idea to a working product: experience design, web or mobile development, and deployment to production.
Choosing technology and a data model that fit today's scale — neither over-engineered nor rewritten in six months.
Servers, databases, storage and domains at startup-program rates, scaling with real user numbers.
Adding developers, DevOps or QA engineers by the month when a startup needs speed but not permanent headcount.
As users grow: adding monitoring, caching, service separation and autoscaling against real load.
Standardizing permissions, backups, logging and technical documentation so you pass technical due diligence when raising.
We do not take on projects that run for months before handover. Every two-to-four-week stage ends in a working version the founder can test with users.
Defining the target user, the problem to solve and the minimum scope needed to test the assumption.
Sketching the user flows, designing the interface and data model, and scaffolding the technical base.
Building and deploying in short stages, each ending in a working version to try out.
Taking the product live with monitoring, backups and a channel for user feedback.
Tracking usage data, prioritizing improvements on evidence and scaling infrastructure when load genuinely rises.
It depends on scope. We usually start with a session to cut the scope to the minimum, then quote in short stages so the founder keeps control of cash flow.
The startup does. Code is pushed to your own repository from day one, along with deployment docs and infrastructure admin rights.
Yes. HiTechCloud runs a startup program with discounted cloud infrastructure in the early stage; the eligibility terms are on the Startup program page.
Yes. Documentation and access are handed over in full. Many startups run the product themselves and keep only an infrastructure support contract.
The default is a phased service contract. Other arrangements are considered case by case, not as general policy.
Contact us to discuss your idea. The first session focuses on narrowing scope to a level sufficient for validation with real users.
